I missed halo wars ever since Reach came out. While indeed reach had way more customizations,(love forge and firefight) halo wars was unique for a halo game and so, I decided to bring it back, FPS style while (hopefully keeping strategy in it). Introducing my first forge map: Halo Wars(appropriate name)!

Two bases face off with two sniping posts between them. Built in the part of forge world that is hemorrhage, most can consider it the halo wars version of blood gulch. The strategic part in the game is how you send your vehicles. You get to unlock the basement that provides them and more powerful weapons once the elites have unlocked the bomb in order to bomb the unsc airpad. So yes, it Is an invasion map.

Voice communication is important and who and when should one commandeer a vehicle is essential to find out before, say a pilot accidentally smashes their teammate on the way out of the base. The hardest part besides breaching the base, is getting your core carrier out. With good coordination, you can overwhelm your enemy and win the battle! The gametype is called Keepaway, named after the dlc gametype. Hope you enjoy it! Made by Dimcommander and can be found by searching file browser or fileshare.
