UNBELIEVABLE: I have to say most of ,if not all,the ideas in this thread are pure crap, I wouldn't even call these ideas i would call them begs or pleads to the halo corparation to make HW2, please kids stop embarassing yourselves(i know most of you are kids because of your terrible puncuation for example look at the post above this one and look how he spells sequel.)Space battles would kill the cannon, flood and sentinals ARE NOT going to be playable EVER.
Thats not to say i hate halo wars, in fact hw was the best one so far and by far my favourite RTS game but really most halo fans are either kids who love aliens and big explosions or competitive jackasses who only play multiplayer, 9 out of 10 people would choose a crap FPS over a excellent RTS because they go with the flow and think that FPSs are for cool people like themselves,of course that is the biggest lie ever told because anyone who constantly plays halo 3 has no life so they are definetely not cool.
I may i have gone off in a bit of a tangent but the point is" HW2 will never happen
These ideas are not crap, well most of them, I personally agree with some of them. The space battle thing would be cool, but at the same time tricky to pull off, and costly. Even if they are "begs" or "pleads", they all have one thing in common, the space battles. You're the one embarassing(sp?) yourself.
And even you, yes you, have grammatical and spelling errors. To me it looks like you're just as old as the rest of them but being cautious enough to not have these errors. (And before you start insulting my age or spelling ways, I'm 16 years old and like to make a good first impression sometimes)
The reason why 9 out of 10 people would choose a crap FPS over an excellent RTS is because they don't have the mindset or skillset to be able to multi-task well enough to be good at an RTS game. I like a good FPS game, but the RTS is what will help build your brain faster and stronger, RTS games make you think quikly and efficiently, which in the long run, makes you smarter and more mature.
Halo Wars 2 can happen, but maybe not in the way everyone would want it to.
This is for everybody, but a good multiplayer game doesn't have to follow the storyline, that's what a campaign is for. Take Capture the Flag for instance, since when do people go into another base, take a flag, and take it to their own base in real life? This game is fictional, the whole storyline is fictional, and everyone seems to think it's real. Maybe in a campaign you wouldn't be able to play as The Flood or Sentinels, but that's what Multiplayer does, adds a kick to the game.
