Jason X35:Thanks, you just saved me a lot of frustration, hopefully.
Jason X35:Thanks, What you call 30 minutes is 1.5 hours for me on legendary(except for the vehicle parts), what's your gamertag so I know what fileshare to check?
DFang:Nooo... Forreals? I was a great stunt/ledge campaign jumper in Halo 3, I'll try to remember that. I find the jetpack a little crude, inefficient, and slow though. Nothing like the old MC super jump.
If I had a capture card I'd post it...wait a minute. I'll do it tomorrow and post the video to my file share. You have to jump on all the right ledges (which are mostly support struts for the buildings) but you can make it to the end fairly quickly without fighting through a couple of videos.
Actually, I found this on accident. When running from the grunts with fuel rod guns at the end, I accidentally fell off the edge of the building. Using my jet-pack, I landed where you first got them and made my way back up.
It's just "Jason X35". I try to keep things simple so people know who I am. Jason is my name. X35, while also the designation of the experimental phase of the F-35 (an awesome aircraft) and thus the source of my inspiration, is also my original Halo 3 service tag. That way people know who I am in a game from a distance away.
I'm actually about to make the vid now. I'm gonna do it on Normal though just so I don't have to worry about random grunt plasma bolts.
It should be up now, but just a few things to keep in mind.
1.) Try not to fall in those two spots I did. :)
2.) It was on Normal, but the same route applies to Legendary.
3.) Grab the rockets from the guy at the start of this area for extra ammo (as I did) and a DMR.
4.) You have to kill a few guys where I did...but its a lot less than in the whole level.
5.) Where I died you may have noticed I shot across to the direction where you're supposed to go. There's a Skirmisher with a Focus Rifle over there that will mess up up as you jet pack up the strut.
It may take a few tries, but this way you have a ton of rocket ammo to deal with the relatively few Brutes at the end (the Grunts and Jackals can each be killed with the DMR easily).
