June 24, 2552 which is when the game starts and is the start of Noble Actual

August 30, 2552 the fall of reach. Reach shouldn't've been nearly completely glassed on June 24 through to whenever the game ends. It just doesn't make sense.

Also, the PoA was first commandered by Keyes while it was in an orbiting space dock.

This just doesn't make any sense. WTF

He doesn't get glassed at the end.  He gets stabbed by the sacred light.

I know, but if it was before August 30, 2552 then the UNSC should've been at full strength at Reach, which means a couple Corvettes and Battlecruisers would've been reamed even before they were able to drop troops or get into the atmosphere. Also, there should've been nearly 20-30 Spartans just chilling on the planet along iwth several Regiments of Marines. That means that there's no way PART of reach could be glassed and SOME Spartans died.

Why is it ruining the experience? If anything, it's giving me info on the future, and telling me to stock up on explosives for my last stand.  I hate suspenseful games, because I'm too busy wondering what's gonna happen next to actually enjoy the game.

Imagine if you knew how Halo 1 ended with a car race through the ship into a Longsword before you played the game. You would ruin a lot of the experience at least from the last two levels.

I hate it when games have a good suspenseful story. I end up getting into a battle and thinking ffs I want to know what happens next and not enjoying any of the actual game play. If I want to watch a movie I'll watch a movie.

What? The second-to-last level didn't even have to do with the hog run.  Besides, how would it ruin the experience? Is being tested on my driving prowess supposed to be a surprise when it pops up?
