i don't think they'll do sub factions for this story line, in fact it would be fairly hard to do sub fractions at all. introducing new factions such as flood and sentinels they could do but only in another game (Halo Wars 2 if  or when they make that). the only factions i think they could possibly have in the games are UNSC, Covenant, ...

me1234:What do you think the campaign should be?  A Linear campaign like warcraft 3?  Or more like dawn of war or Rise of legends. referring to the start ideas here they could put both in if they really wanted to. have a story based linear campaign and then have as another part of the game a Campaign planet dominance style game though ...

I'm fine with its exclusiveness, though it would get my dad hooked on Halo if it was on the PC, then i could have someone locally to verse who would be a challenge. i respect their decision to keep it exclusive to 360, but i reckon they would make just that bit more if it was on PC. but who cares about money these days.

well i meant 10 as in 2 squads. so there might be a back up squad in it, but i reckon there is a slim chance of that. i agree that the squad sizes are 4-5.

this image sort of supports my thoughts (and others, i don't know i haven't read the whole topic) they'll probably keep the story line and movie thing to the five. i just hope there are more Spartans in game play. so yeah i doubt story wise there will be more than five in Halo Wars, at most i say ten.

i think that if they have the story line mesh into the books that they will show only squad omega in the movie parts and stuff. cause they do have a limited number of Spartans to take omega squad from. but i would like in the Game for you to be able to get more then just them, i like the idea of squads of Spartans.
