i wrote mine a few years ago. the canon is totally wack; don't get your info from that. i rewrote the whole novel with correct canon, but i never typed it up.

i have a little change to that: i believe Humans ARE the Forerunners, like many other people believe as well.  The reason we can use terminals and stuff is because of a little thing called Genetic Memory, which has yet to be completely proven.
