The vote percentage changes all the time. Sometimes its up, and sometimes its down. Some of the other designers are lobbying the same stuff at their boards. A wide margin is always preferable. Also, while voting you get to see its specs, which is cool.   (Underestimated the apathy present on this board)

You're right that the pelican is very valuable to the UNSC's war movement, but I think you're wrong about it's role. I see it more as comparable to the importance of the two and a half ton supply truck in World War II (it maintained the supply lines, crucial to a war).
