• Re: I've got the jack

I recall once I was playing a 3v3 on Fort Deen and I had 3 Spartans guarding the energy shields in the middle. As soon as I was getting ready to bus my army in, 10 Wraiths come up. My Spartans jack 3 of 'em, and push back the rest of the Wraiths. Then the REAL attack force comes in with about 5 Wraiths, 10 Locusts, BC, and several ...

  • Re: Warehouses are better than supply pads

James T:Warehouses are weaker than the UNSC supply pad, making the warehouse worse. As far as resource gathering goes, I think they are the same. That's the reason why the Covies get a shield and the UNSC don't. But yes, they are the same when it comes down to resource gathering and that should be the end of it.

  • Re: Flood, alive or dead?

The Flood are very much alive. After all the Flood threat on Installation 05 was never fully taken care of AND it's probable that other installations (ex. Threshold Gas Mine) are still being used to contain the Flood. All in all, the Flood still live but it remains to be seen if they are still going to be an influential figure in the Halos to ...

  • Re: Looking for Wraith help

One: Yes. But only with their plasma turrets. Two: It's used to cause additional area damage to units. And can be deadly. Wraith's are (obviously) the covies main-line battle tank. They should be used mostly (if not exclusively)early to late game while you opponet is still fielding units and if you accompany them with a leader then ...

  • Re: Warehouses are better than supply pads

Well when you play as the UNSC you NEED a second base in order to even field units. It costs 500 resources for a Scorp whereas it only costs 300-350 (can't remember) to field a Wraith. Add that to the cost for upgrades and you find that the Wraith is more cost-effective but the Scorp is more powerful. So it all comes down to your playing style ...

  • Re: Warehouses are better than supply pads

It's not that warehouses are better, it's that the UNSC requires more resources to operate. The upgrades cost more, the powers cost more, and the units cost more for the UNSC. But due to that the UNSC is more powerful than the Covies, so it's probably not a resource problem as much as it is a sucking problem.

  • Re: The covenant needs drones

I think it would be a good idea to have them as a replacement for engineers for a certain leader considering engineers and drones do essentially the same thing except drones can actually engage in combat. It's like a flying cyclops except better.

  • Re: Halo War update suggestions

Torch105: xXxSuper BKxXx: Tech sharing- Not a good idea. As it would make the game less fun/challenging and it would just promote rushing more. Transfer Unit ability- Why? I see no point in it. The only place that could actually work is in Co-Op. Tech Requirement for Unit Weapons- No. That would require alot of encoding and it would also destroy ...

  • Re: Brutes

@timk: They're actually rather strong against marines and grunts. Try playing a few infantry battles with them against marines or grunts. But you're spot on with everything else.

  • Re: Water-Units a thing of the past?

I'm pretty sure water vehicles were phased out with the invention of the MAC. *Bering Strait. On board the U.S.S. Enterprise* Skipper: Sir! We've intercepted an enemy transmission! Captain: What does it say? *The skipper plays the message* Message: MAC away. Captain: What the heck does that mea- HOLY SHI- Yeah......
