Because there is a large community of people who express their artistic talents by making those signatures. Also, it makes finding posts by a specific person much easier.

What I never got about the whole thing was that the offenders didn't use [img] tags, they used HTML. [img] tags had nothing to do with it.

But even Halo Wars was subpar as far as RTS games go. And even then, why not give them a low spot on the list, if its just because they did something that no one else has yet? Why put them in the top 15!
