Thats a good point. If you have both front lines and rear transport vehicles there really is no need for a middle class.

I think it would be more practical to have counter measures on every vehicle than to eliminate the rockets all together.
Perhaps the Warthog could launch some sort of flak-esque material that altered the path of the rocket.

UNSC AI is correct. They have not given an exact release date on the release date of Halo 2 Vista.
But like the name says, make sure you have Vista before you get Halo 2 for the computer.

The Albatross is the one in the trailer, and the Pelicans are the ones from the previous Halo games.
My question is, are there any ships that are between these 2 types. Perhaps a middle class landing craft that I am unaware of ?

I hope each unit type controls in a unique fashion representative of its given attributes.
For example, Warthogs can traverse terrain that other vehicles may not be able to pass. This would give a unique tactical advantage to creating a truly wide array of units, not lots of one strong unit. (which is what you see in many other RTSs ...
