Well, as everything else seems to be being answered, about the cleansing beam running outat 16,000 if you were attacking a UNSC or a UNSC players ally, he could of called in a bomb (forgotten its name) which ceases the use of superpowers in an area for a period of time.

Jebus, is it so hard to understand? Flood are not, will not, and never shall be playable. You can say you disagree as much as you want, or debate how cool it would be, but at the end of the day, your going to be disappointed as you set your hopes too high for something not going to happen.

Sorry if this has been mentioned but i basically quick scanned the majority of this topic, but flood are NOT playable, confirmed by Graeme himself several times, theres an air unit to counter what the covenant and UNSC have, there in skirmish as being ''there'' like on the map, ambient life as someone said, but they can attack you ...
