Well, you have the Halo Books and that the Halo Universe is pretty diversie.

Its going to be like the Age of Empires games.  Which is awesome.

Just to add to what Thunder said, Heavengames is a network of gaming sites mainly concentrating on Strategy (RTS) and City Builder games. They have had sites for all ES games till now and is built around a great community. They have also had many of their people hired by various gaming companies. Its good stuff.

Yes, its possible you can play the campaign online with a friend. But RTS online games are usually RMS games.
