My 2 cents is that Ghosts of Onyx was awesome.  I absolutely loved the story because it sets up what we are gonna have to deal with in Halo 3, and answers the question that we will not get to see the other spartans in the game, except maybe in an end game cinematic.  It answers a lot of questions.  And the plot blows the reader ...

It looks very cool indeed.  I hope it makes it into the game.  But if it doesn't I think I'll survive.  As for some more content, I'll just keep drooling in anticipation.  Kudos, guys!  Kudos! 

I voiced a similar thought on a thread on the first day this forum opened.  I believe they have multiple versions of the Longsword available for various purposes.  Just as they have multiple versions of Pelican dropships and warthogs.

I had a feeling that was the case.  I've seen probably a few hundred concept images of craft from Halo, all done by fans.

It's certainly possible that it is a skyhawk.  The photo TimW put up doesn't look anything like what was seen in the Trailere.  But it maybe too soon to tell.  And that photo may not even be an officially published conceptual image of the skyhawk.  Afterall, lot's of people have been doing fan-based concept art for ...

Nice analysis.  Like I said before: Too many criticisms of the character models at this stage.  People aren't thinking critically, they are just quick to complain because this project isn't being run by Bungie.  Zuka's a good man. . .er, elite.

It was my thought that it could just be a pre-rendered model of the Longsword, but I also feel it is quite possibly a Skyhawk as well.  I don't believe any models or conceptual art has ever been released showing what most of the UNSC/Covenant arsenals look like.
