Maybe he's a super elite unit or something
You woldn't have dual swords in Halo 3, well at least definately not in multiplayer - they'd be far too powerful

Nice
I notice some aliasing on the fighters - could they be an in-game render photoshopped onto an artwork background?
Hmmm who knows
Happy Birthday Halo!

It's called selling out and getting the most money out of a franchise before you ditch it
:(

MS will choose action over story. Only a small percent of people from the market who buy Halo actally read the books and get clued up on the history, so it makes sense not to sacrifice playability for history. I'm hoping for an Empire at War/ BFME experience.

Still, nothing beats a mouse and keyboard, no matter how good the control scheme is on a controller. It's just not the same.

Hah yes he does!
He could be the instructor in the tutorials and missions and come up as a vid telling you what you need to do
-
I hope so. Mouse and Keyboard are best for RTSs. The BFME2 control scheme is good but nothing canbeat the freedom of mouse and the amount of hotkeys a keyboard allows.
-
If they allow Keyboard, Mouse and Mods then we won't need a PC to play this game.

Maps should be free. I've not come across any respectable RTS game that has made users pay for new maps, or even new content.
I wouldn't mind paying for a proper expansion pack through the Marketplace, but extra content has always been and shoudl always be free on RTSs.

Hmm that could be applied to what Peter Jackson was going on about, too. Think about it. Couldn't an RPG or MMORPG classify as an interactice story? And he did say it was a kind of game. Hmm...
