True the movement commands seem dumbed down but what counts is the strategies imo. I can care less if there are only the buttons "Move" and "Attack", but if the strategies all require different units to intelligently counter different units, i would be fine with it. Personally I would reserve all judgements for this game untill we play the demo. You really cannot tell from simply looking at videos.

If I were to guess, basic marines would probably be equipped with weapons dawn-of-war style, where an upgrade changes their weapons from a basic assault rifle to shotguns/snipers/rockets/flamethrowers.
