The story has huge flaws with in-placed canon to the Halo-verse.  The thing with the Elites being the decents to the Forrunners is the hugest flaw in the entire story.   Time frames aren't relevent to the battle.   I could go on, but I'll stop. 

How about one about the Battle of Tarawa?  Or perhaps maybe the First Battle of Mogadishu?
