A strategy i used was to upgrade warthogs so they have gauss cannon and if you get like 10 + that free scorpion and marine squads you get at the start quite a nice battle squad just keep an eye on their health and call in heal and repair if nesescary ( <- i cant spell that word :( ) and when you get the grizzly that thing barely takes damage ...
