To the community of Halo Wars,
Halo wars, for some time now, has been a large part of my life. When I'm playing, I love life, and when I'm not, I'm planning on how to win my next game. Although I might not have the highest trueskill, or even have reached a rank of general (im brigadier), I consider myself a patron to the game, and a pioneer to any common strategy that has risen. I bought the game on the day of release, and since then i have bought 4 new games. After beating the campaign on those new games, and sometimes before, I would always go back to halo wars.
this game has been a part of my life.
As people change, so do their interests however, and it really saddens me to think that I'm losing interest in the game. I haven't played online for about 3 months, and the last time I was on this forum, iEchoic and studdmuffin were the measuring stick. As i can see, there are now new people against which we all compare.
I am of the Alpha generation of halo wars.
I saw it through every one of its TU's.
I had an input in pressuring the change to the speed of PoR's chair, and the effectiveness of turrets.
Some of you reading this don't know the old game.
I, and anyone of my alpha generation, that is, when the original alpha version of the game was released, before being distorted by complaints and updates, are the pioneers of what you have today.
Going back to the people change thing, I am losing interest in the game. I just wanted to thank anyone and everyone that has ever made an impact to my Halo Wars life. You have been worthy foes, and for that i can give you but my thanks.
I would personally like to apologize for any occassion i may have resigned, and would like to say FUC K YOU to anyone thats ever resigned on me lol.
Anyway, i guess that's it. I'm going to be checking this post for the next few hours or so to read anything you guys say.
Halo Wars patrons, thank you so much for the ride, but now, i think it's time to go.
Rgrds,
Bladed Flames
