...at a disadvantage in everything but their leader? Their early economy sucks because they have to spend 500 to shell out a leader who has the same health as a tank and moves slower than one? They have to spend money to buy blessed warehouses because without them they'll be left behind even further. Their units are absolute garbage without the first upgrade, shield gauntlets, the hunter's shields, boost, wraith's shields, without these upgrades which take time and precious resources the Covie's early units which are already obselete when they come out would be S.O.L?
They can hardly double base correctly and it seems to take a long time to find those 500 spare resources to buy a base when you have to pay 1000 for tech 2 to make your leader a viable threat? Covie have to spend 3500 to get to tech three while humans if they take all single reactors is 2500 or if you dually reactor it's 3150.
Hunter's without A.B. upgrade are pretty much worthless. a Canister shell, power turret tank can take on three hunters without breaking a sweat, heal with that nifty 'up on the d-pad' thing while Covie either have to beg their UNSC allies for a heal or build an air pad which may not have anything to do with their build at all.
Scarabs are also just another unit. You either attack first and don't let the people tech up because if they get one with 35 engineers, WHICH IS EXTREMELY stupid, it's just one Scarab that you need to mob and ice the Engis then the person is out like 5000 resources, or two which is so much easier to take down.
