Have you noticed that people with more posts i.e. more popularity have longer living threads? I had two recently about some topics that seemed like it would generate attention but it turns out that a three hour long game played by Crusader had more hits? (no offense) I just don't understand how a few people could decide the fate of what we write.

Its more interesting to discuss highlevel strats then dealing with the lower level players. Just because you won a 3 hour game where you did nothign all game does not mean anything. A 3 hour game with high level play makes you want to stop playing halo wars because of how much micro is involved. Some even get brain farts.

The way to figure out if you are a low level player or not is to think. Do I care about my rank? if you answered yes, then you are a low level player. Top players dont care if they are generals or not since it bears no resemblance to the skill one has.

You know, it might have something to do with the fact that they have been here for a while and know what is a good post idea.

My biggest thread was the halo MMORPG with like 11 pages and the closet to that was the new gametype idea with around 3 pages so yea mine die rather quickly, but i was impressed when erickboo necro'd my MMORPG thread :D

Same here. It seems the Multiplayer High-count posters have all their threads posted in because of the amount of forum-players they play with, so half the time it's not actual input to the discussion it's just friends posting jokes or asking when they want to play.

So in otherwords unless you post a innovative thread, a very creative thread, a really good question, or a really stupid one then it is unlikely you will get a lot of responses until you become a friend-whore.
