okay so i'm using PoR at the moment in 1v1's just cause i find him fun to use, the only problem is that i suck with him, probably wouldnt even get a ts of 42 with him but im workin on it :P
on blood gultch i have lost at least twice recently because of a combination of gauss + wingman hornets , this is mainly cause i couldnt get enough vampires out cause i couldnt consistently keep a reacter, and gauss rapes air. just wondering what i should do here or if it's just one of those situations where you have to cripple your opponent before they get to that point
anyway i was basically wondering how many units should i keep near each of the hooks (im thinking 1-2 wraith/hunters plus jackels in the towers)
i was also wondering if the initial path my prophet takes is alright, basically i will go t first and build an ehg as soon as it is made then i will send my prophet to the reacter on my side while sending the ehg to my supply elevator (use the ghost to kill the sniper) i was thinking of getting my ehg to collect crates on the way to the supply elevater but if i do that there is a good chance that my opponent would have gunner hogs by the time i get him to the hook. then i'll get blessed imo as soon as i can + clear out my reacter, i'll probably go hall/factory 5th and head over to my opponents supply elevater and then attack my opponent (ill get a front turret to protect my hall and make hunters/wraiths to defend the back if need to for the first bit)
if i saw my opponet had no vd or ap i would just attack with jackals+wraiths (maybe a locust and upgrade PoR beam), if i saw a vd i would would spam hunter + wraiths and if i saw an ap i would get ancestral fairly early and make some ghosts (or get vampires not sure yet)
