Waypoint staff will transition in over the next month to support operations of HaloWars.com and the Halo Wars matchmaking and stats servers. Over the past year, Robot was very proud to roll out 4 Title Updates for Halo Wars, provide technical support on the forums and provide a place for volumes of fan fiction. Robot was proud to be a part of this community for the past year, and we hope we served you well.

Deathmatch is spamming Wraiths/Cobras/Hawks with a prophet here and there, but Standard is just spamming of Banshees/Tanks/Hogs with an arbiter here and there. What's the difference?

they better work on a halo wars 2, hopefully one with pelicans as units more useful infantry (for teams there useful in 1v1 IMO) less powerful scouts and maybe instead of supply pads workers!! I always kinda thought (tell em what you think) that the crates could be in a HUGE pile at the side or back of your base or somthing an you could build a new infantry unit called a worker (gasp) and of course you could use marines or some other infantry but they gather at a reduced speed, anway I think that would kewl and to prevent air from just dominatig you should be able to ahve infantry occupy some anti-air turrets, or just make it so thoses lone turrets that you can build near the slots you can build in the back where the supplies are. well that's just my idea but whatever.

I fear for the worse, they are probably lowering support for halowars and by having robot move on and just having a centralized 3rd party moderate and do maintainace on the site.

Microsoft is moving on, they are making Robot move on. We are just caught in between on this forum and playing the game.

343 industries does not seem like it is capable to release patches and do anything HWs related. This is just going to be the slow death of HWs, probably HWs 2 will be made, but this game is going with the times.

last time we had a change it caused the entire forums to go into a giant civil war.....for like the third time im sorry to say.

hopefully it wont be as bad as it was last time and maybe we wont lose half our members again and if we dont then good luck to them because i learned my leason last time.

One must wonder how "exciting" these plans can be without a developer attached to Halo Wars. I dont imagine anything will change / be added to the in game expierence.
