Timotron: TheAtomicBong:We all know that the Arbiters final rage makes friendly units like 25% stronger, well i say the Spartans should be giving a 4th upgrade. Reduce spartan laser to 900 and then add an 1800 resource upgrade that instills morale in all friendly units the Spartans range. a small 5% combat bonus for each Spartan in Range. so total 15% max or one star (statistically).
During development we actually had the Spartans buffing nearby infantry but we removed it to focus the Spartans more in favor of their role of taking / amplifying vehicles, the code work eventually got re-used for the Arbiters final rage upgrade because it was there :)
well then the next update should give the Spartans back the buff i suggested, it would be a nice way to make marines and flamethrower stronger.
EDIT: nevermind the spartan increase i say you should let us build our UNSC leader from the Field Armory. Forge can commandeer a vehicle giving like an extra spartan. Anders can heal. and Cutter inspires the infantry giving them a combat boost. make them like half as strong as a covenant leader give them alright DPS nothing great maybe basic damage, and pushing "A" on them brings up a circle menu with command orders like formations of units and a retreat order that makes all troops fall back to the nearest rally point. and an order for a fast transport that only the leaders can use twice as fast as pelican and right in the circle menu. Now i know this is impossible giving the fact the game is out and adding new units would require all new discs months of programing blah blah, but maybe if a halo wars 2 happens then heres an idea.
The Elephants Defense turret does Basic damage... Sweet.
