Did Ensemble receive any help from Bungie when creating Halo Wars? And if so what kind of help (story, concept art, etc.)?

I thought I remembered Aloysius saying something on this topic, but I couldn't find it in the search bar. Also a source would be nice.

Yes, Ensemble recieved indirect help while working on HW. The story, plot elements, units, anddesign was all indirectly affected by Bungie.
