    Everyones new favorite rush tactic

    GRUNT RUSH^^

     

    seriously I hope you can pump out a bunch of then in no time and charge in hoping to catch the defender unprepared. I also hope they add voices during combat so we can hear them squeeeeeal out their high pitched war-cries without having to click on them (the demon is here!!! for example when a spartan runs up to them).

    they were called settler's in AoE 3 villager's in AoE 2, on topic villager's/settler's aren't as funny as Grunt's!

    unit caps gonna be like 50 right. so have 50 grunts just be built at the beginning of the game and rush. i think it would seriously hurt there base lol and the voices would be nice.

    I really really really would be quite pissed if ensemble spoiled the game with making rushes easy and effective..

    I mean, it's a pretty easy and boring tactic and it's pointless, why buy a game if you're gonna TRY to make it last 5 mins?

    And as it's a really easy option, with the halo community as it is (tonnes of immature kids) it'd be waaaay over used..

    I hope they make the game challenging, so that a person can't just spam one unit and win the game

    yeah 5 min games suck specialy how i play. it takes me a while cuz im defensive. so i hate rushing lol.

    Me too. Also if we put enough turrents and marines with rocket launchers than they should drop pretty fast cause come on, were talking about grunts here lol. Depending on how much like halo they are making it, it shouldnt take much to take down some grunts. Put down some lotus mines, turrents in strategic postions, some snipers, rocket launchers, and some marines and they wont get to far. This is probably going to be my defence anyway.

    It's a rush, the entire point is to get em into your base before you get all that..

    The most you'd prolly have is a few marines by the time 50 grunts are in your base..

    u would not have enough money to do all that before they but 50 grunts because they will probly be the cheapest units in the game

    and i assume lotus mines and turrets are not

    btw ES make a lot of defensive structures options also in order to stop rushes maybe start the players off with a few walls at least on a few maps or make the starting points easy to wall off then we could upgrade and lengthen them later
