As we've mentioned, TU4 will decrease the points required to achieve General Rank. We still want to recognize the people who get the rank before TU4 goes live.
And with that, we're proud to announce that were rolling out the Halo Wars OG Avatar.
This will appear under your post count on the side of every post if you have achieved the General Rank before Title Update 4 goes live sometine in December (once we have a firm date, we will let everyone know).
You can do this now if you are already a General.
In order to get the rank, you will need to take the following steps:
1) Attach your Gamertag to your HaloWars.com forum account (Steps to do this are at the end of the post).
2) Find your Xbox.com Gamertag Link (example: http://live.xbox.com/en-US/profile/profile.aspx?pp=0&GamerTag=Robot+Rosey )
3) Send an email to HaloWars@robotentertainment.com with the subject of "Halo Wars OG" and include your forum name, gamertag, and the Xbox.com Link to your gamertag showing that you have received the Achievement. Make sure to include your gamertag and forum name.
Once you have done this, we will check the emails to verify that the achievement has been received, and then add the Avatar to your profile. Then everyone will know you are a Halo Wars O.G.
To attach your gamertag to your profile, click your forum name at the top of the page (Signed in as XXXXX), then click the Gamertag Tab and follow the instructions.
