I am sure it will be a good movie.  If they just wanted to release crap then I am sure we would already have it by now.  I am hoping that the Halo movies turn into a huge success like Resident Evil and Xmen did.

ya i hope so also, and Halo Reach needs to dom on CoD MW2 wow i played it this weekend and beat the campaign on hardened it was epic..

Those are the main points of the games, these are movies, which will need something different, otherwise people will call them the same thing as the games.  The flood were only found very late in the war, and all the events after that are the games, so the flood cannot be in the movie.  War-ending Forerunner Artifacts: Supposedly, The Halos were the first war-ending artifact to be found, and that was also the first major hint that ONI had that even said the Forerunners might have existed. 

The Haloverse is unique because the humans are losing, we are technologically inferior, and it has a surprisingly small amount of scientific inaccuracies for a sci-fi game.

ya your right, i do want some sweet spartan scenes, but not during a battle more like doing something to the covenant leader or something epic no petty fighting grunts or something stupid,

a great Halo movie should be sort of like District 9

you are able to connect with the characters on an emotional level (we should be able to care about the characters)

giant battle scenes both on the ground and in space (but the Covenant will still win)

i dont know why everyone complains about the flood but if they ever add the Flood make them seem unstoppable not like it will easy to wipe them out. make everyone in the theater feel that there is no hope against the Flood

try to make the Grunts seem stronger than in the video games or make them more menacing because its very pathetic when i have to fight them one vs one

please do not make it pg-13 because its Halo...have some blood but not too much like some movies that overuse the blood

Spartans should be in the movie but make it so that when the Spartans are on the field there should be a sense of hope

and most important...have very good fighting scenes

Storywise, the flood hadn't really entered the war until Delta Halo and High Charity.
