I suggest bringing General down to 600k points instead of the suggested 960k, however, every time you loooooose a game you looooose x2 the opponents score. And you gain nothing. This way, people may actually attempt to win..

If you lose twice the opponent's score then the average person's score will end up being negative.

Alot of people will take the hit, but loosing to good players, who will get 4000 points a game makes you only loose 8k, They already play games to get 20k points, this way they actually try to win, and a better match means lower multiplier for both teams, which will lower points you loose when you it happens.

I disagree, some people would loose WAY more than they gain and it would cause a ton lot of problems.

Marine spamming an Arbiter is the most pitiful thing to do/watch, it's like watching a kid with downs try to swim, you feel bad for making the marines/pushing him in the water...

You'd need to win at least two-thirds of your matches just to break even, and the majority of people will have a negative score.  If anything, people will get frustrated from playing and quit.

Lol, its a general Idea. 

 

Doesnt have to be x -2. However something similar should be implemented when a proper algorithm is thought of. This is the only game I know of where people would rather get points and looooooooose, over getting 2k points and winning.
