    New Halo Wars Rank Numbers (General now 960,000 Points)

    We are looking at lowering the the amount of points needed to achieve every rank.

    Here are the proposed points for each rank, this will take effect when the Title Update goes live (which we do not have a time frame for yet).



    Rank Score Needed New Points
    Recruit Play 1 Game Play 1 Game
    Lieutenant 25,000 15,000
    Captain 60,000 30,000
    Major 140,000 60,000
    Commander 310,000 120,000
    Colonel 700,000 240,000
    Brigadier 1,500,000 480,000
    General 2,400,000 960,000


    We hope that this will make getting the Running the Show Achievement easier for players while still making it a challenge. We are sure that all current Generals will welcome the new Generals with open arms.

    omg I'm general. Getting general is still a challenge, so I think the new amount required is adequate.

    i dont like this AT ALL!!!

    because before the ranking system ever got updated it would take you 680000 to rech the rank of major...then in the first point update those people who are major became three stars, and those people who were commanders would have the skill level of captains, but now majors are the same skill level as lietuanants before any of the updates, and with this update brigadiers now have the skil level of majors before any of the updates....

    wow....this is...just...so bad....

    when i see a general now i think i might actually TS from winning...Now im gonna see Generals insta-sign (rofl fail) and ill go down in TS from winning...wow....holy crap....

    What you could've done was add ranks on to that , like...

     1 star general

    2 star general

    3 star general

    4 star general

    5 star general

    then like commander in cheif or something

    OMG! Now I'm only 200k out of a General Rank. YAY Aloysius! Now I think I will start playing again to reach the general rank and get my achievement. OMG this update did exactly what it was meant to do! Now tons of peoplez will storm back to HW to get to general! BRILLIANT
    I am Aloysius's best cub scout!

    But now I have a new heart to win over.

    i agree with it going to 5 star general, but make no achievment for any of the ranks and just the leave the "running the show" achievment at a 1 star general

    atleast the game would have ranks close to Halo 3 now

    The general rank's requirement is way too low. Increase it to 1.5 atleast.
