Believe it or not but their are Hawks in Halo 3, now if you want to check for yourself, you need to play the Halo 3 Campaign. Play the level 'The Convenant" Mission start, Right when you land, the Women on the radio says (Listen clearly now) "I have 2 pelicans left and i have just lost my last Hawk" Now maybe i heard wrong but it sounded nothing like Hornet. I hope you check it out for yourselves and post back if you get any results ;) Thanks

In Halo 3, "hawk" meant hornet, I'm pretty sure.
