    Armies and base strategies.

    This is intended for new players to halo wars all the strategies below are intended for both attack and defense.
    Armies are based around game mode Standard 3 v 3.
    Estimated time done is of course different pending on the player.
    This is intended as a service to new players.
    ALL STRATEGIES POSTED HERE ARE FOR LATE GAME!!!!
    Unsc Basic base setup//////

    SP      SP     SP      SP
    SP      SP     VD      VD
    R   BA  R      SP  FA  SP
      Base 1         Base 2

    SP= Supply Pad
    BA= Barracks
    FA= Field Armory
    R= Reactor
    AP= Air Pad
    VD= Vehicle Depot

    Unsc Army 1 Anders.

    1 Vulture- Counter hunters,Cobra, Jackal Flame, and Soft counter to air. 6 unit

    2 6 Gremlins- Counter all vehicle no cobra.

    3 Spartans

    4 7 Wolverine- Soft counter Infantry Hard counter all air.

    5 5 Cobra- Hard counter all vehicles soft infantry.

    6 2 Marines- For map specific areas.

    40/40 pop

    Counter Hard Vehicle, Hard Air, Soft infantry.

    Notes: Have Flamethrowers and tanks on Backup. Build 7 total supply pads.

    Estimated time done: 20 Minutes.

    4 Grizzlies- Anti Infantry Soft vehicle.  12 pop
    7 Wolverines- Anti air. 14 pop
    5 Cobra- Anti vehicle. 10 pop
    4 Cyclops- Vehicle heal. 4 pop
    3 Spartans- Put in tanks or leave out.
    40/40 pop

    Counter: Hard Infantry, Hard vehicle, Moderate air, And Weakness of Mass hunters.

    Notes: Have flamethrowers on backup replace field armory when done with barracks.
    Army has no counter to Mass Hunters Build Flame turrets in Front and Back.

    Estimated time done: 20-30 Minutes.

    3 Spartan tanks- Anti Infantry Anti Vehicle Avoid Air. 9 pop
    7 Wolverines- Anti air Soft infantry. 14 pop
    7 Cobra- Anti Vehicle Soft infantry. 14 pop
    1 Elephant- Mobile base. 2 pop
    1 Odst- Map specific area. 1 pop

    40/40 pop

    Counter: Hard Infantry, Hard vehicle, Hard Air, Weakness of Hunters.

    Notes: Drop odst if unit pop drops. If attacked by hunters drop Odst or train
    Flamethrowers out of elephant or barracks.

    Estimated time done: 30-35 Minutes.

    Covenent Main army

    10 Hunters- Hard counter all veicle, Soft infantry. 20 pop
    8 Vampires- Hard air counter. 16 pop
    10 Jackals- Hard infantry counter. 10 pop
    4 Engineers- Unit recovery. 4 pop

    50/50 pop

    Counter: Med/hard counter to vehicle(Pending on player) Hard to all infantry, Med to air.

    Notes: Mass jackals are the covenents downfall if you see a hint that your opponent(S) Are making jackals.
    Send in your infantry and start making wraiths or a scarab.

    Estimated time done: 30 Minutes.

    Covenent supply need soon to come.


    Rushing strategies etc will be added depending on how helpful this is.

    No strategy should ever take any time near that long. You will be beat by 10 mins (or sooner).

    I'm not trying to rain on your parade, but all you're doing is setting yourself up for a major loss, and then you're just gonna come back here and complain about rushers...

    Idc about rushes because i dont care whether i win or lose i have different strategies these few are some of my longer strategies because i notices recruits leutenants etc take longer to play and lack a bit of order. i made this to simply put together a example. If your saying that i will lose due to a rush around ten minutes ill tell you that i can counter a full tank rush with 3 spartans and 4 gremlins. Also your stating that i make all units at once. all at an estimated time. you can make your tanks wolverines etc first w/e i posted is a final result of all fa upgrades done.

    Instead of giving them long strategies, you should try and help them develop shorter ones. Giving them long-ass strats won't help them.

    I didn't say that you would lose to a rush at 10 minutes (as in it's executed at 10 minutes), but that you lose by 10 minutes, as in by 10 minutes into the game you will have already lost using any of those strategies. Nor did I say that you make all of your units at once at the very end of your strategy's allotted time. But seeing as how it takes 20-30 minutes for any of those given strategies, it would seem that your unit production would be rather slow, regardless of when you decide to train more units or get more upgrades.

    Also, not everyone rushes with tanks; they could go hornets or boom for a tech three attack, such as Cobras and Wolverines...Either way, you can have a very large and effective army by 10 minutes.

    I'm not here to give out specific info on help, but there are lots of guys around here who love to share decent strats with other community members.

    It was fairly stupid giving all your strategies away. Anyways, not many new people join anymore, and very few people need strategies, apart from the complete fine gentlemen. All you've done is give strategies to everyone so the top players can deciphere counters for them.

    Your thinking wrong What i posted Takes into account every upgrade for those units posted including field armory Now what your telling me is that you can have a fully upgraded army by 10 minutes??? Sounds a little godly but bs. I can get every unit upgraded and out at 15 minutes not including fa and flamethrowers if your here to try and call out my strategies which i specifically posted for long games when i had the intent to post your so cherished RUSH strategies you have no point.

    No one (except for noobs) upgrades their entire army all the way before attacking. Most people will attack with only partly upgraded armies, and they still kick ass...

    It is typically the Tech 3 upgrade that gives that specific unit it's fighting edge.

    ....10 minutes is not a rush...It's been somewhat agreed upon that anything before and by 5 minutes is a rush.

    You originally said that you were trying to help noobs, but your help is not real help. That is my point.

    Topped? I'm confused...

    Points=average for me

    Rank=If anyone here tried, we could get to top 500.

    Not to be mean, but I would obliterate your team doing this single handedly. Think of some faster stuff.

    General is not the top of the ranking system. It just shows that you are a point whore. TS and Skill Level are what determine your real skill. Rank is for noobs such as yourself who rely on getting points for losing to rank up.

    Any system that gives any large amount of points for a loss is flawed. There is no point in winning If you still get lots of points for losing.
