I was going over the Bungie weekly update again, to look at the cover for the new book. I was wondering what is everyones thoughts on the book?

Things like but NOT LIMITED TO :

Do you think it will be good?

What would you like to find out?

What don't you want to see?

You know just things like that.    Edit:BTW sorry if this is posted before I didn't really look just didn't see any recent topics.

Would love to know more information about the covenant. More about the races that we know about and others that we bearly know that even exist. And offcorse how all these races got into the Covenant. Some how they found all this Forerunner technology too.

That's what comes to mind now... Wil probably add some more later.

chances are the book will be good, its written by one of Bungies own if i remember correctly. i cant wait to find out what first contact was like and fighting the Covvies without SPARTANS

Also other things I woulden't mind to see is more action with Vice Admiral Whitcomb. War against the covenant without spartans in it. And UNSC vs rebel wars.

- If you read the Fall of Reach, you will see that the convenant started the war.

- And the Spartan-1 would be the ancient greek guys (like from the Movie 300).

Erh no. What he means by SPARTAN-I is that there was a first spartan program that failed, well most of it aniway. Some time passed then the good docter resurected the spartan idea and started the SPARTAN-II program which was a complete succses.

It's called HALO:CONTACT HARVEST and its all about the beginning of the war with the Covenant and the glassing of  the colony on Harvest and the battle at Paris IV(not sure what the # was) when Johnson used the crate of plasma grenades and probably stuff on how Borens' Syndrome affected him.

Much apreciated for the info. I can't belive I missed it. That Johnson sure gets to be where all the fun is to be found. And offcorse looking forward to Admiral Coles grandnes. 

But yeah am sure Joseph Staen wil do a good job. Telling the story aniway. Unsure how hes quality in writing the books themselfs is. Hope he can write the book as good as Eric Nylund does.

Well its kind of hard to say who started the war, the Covanent attacked Harvest because we were trespassing on their "Holy Soil", so instead of asking us asking us nicely to leave they tell us "they are Gods intstrument and our destruction is there bidding" or something along those lines. And stepping back a bit, i agree with whomever said it before, why/how is Johnson holding a Battle Rifle on the cover, that wasn't even in the books until Dr. Halsey opened this experimental weapons room in Reaches base so the spartans could use them before blowing everything up.
