Kaiser Strafe:I'm sorry but Starcraft gameplay is horrible. If you think about, it all you do is spam one unit. There isn't really much balance to it at all. Sure it was fun and all, but it got boring fast for me since every game I joined turned into a money making map were everyone spammed zealots if not dragoons, etc. You never saw diversity in the attack. Zerg; it was work your way up to guardians and devourers. It basically became an air battle. I hope I pushed balance enough :P BALANCE BALANCE BALANCE.
Apparently, you were a noob playing against noobs. In StarCraft, spamming only one unit is perhaps the best way to get your butt kicked. Massed Dragoons would be destroyed by a handful of Ghosts, Siege Tanks, Wraiths, High Templars, Defilers, Zerglings, etc. A smaller army of Dragoons backed up with Zealots, Observers, Scouts, and maybe a Corsair or two would work way better than spammed units, and require much more micromanagement.
Starcraft was the most balanced RTS game ever, and the gameplay of Halo Wars can only aspire to be a fraction as good. All tactics had counters, and those who micromanaged smaller armies would destroy huger armies every time.
Sincerely, your local StarCraft expert.

Then you should be pretty happy with the game; it's a lot of fun.
Even if a squad of marines out of dozens of units on a battle field has shoulder pads .25" too thick for a fanboy's tastes :)
Inspires confidence, no?
