    Re: Blood gulch prophet

Temple Second, get blessed imo as your ghost collects the abundance of resource crates around your base and mid that are conveniently placed and send your prophet for your Supply Elevator first.  Drop an EHG in, put him in and go to the reactor on your opponents side while you're building up your base.  Get that reactor, then go across the map towards his supply elevator and get that.  Since I generally go Hall as my building, I'll pump out like 4 jackals to go take the reactor by my base real fast.

He's a good player but I don't take his word religiously.  Going T-W-W or W-T-W or W-W-T is on a very personal basis.  I dont like to go Temple first ever, shatters my economy and I dont like going W-W-T.  Waste of time.  I like going Temple second.  It works, it's not game breaking so...I dont care.

    blood gulch:

    covenant: ehg rush him

unsc: get tech 2 prophet fast and then attack with tech 2 counter units, try not to get into hook trading. you will never keep up with hogs and flamers. attack about 5 min in with counters and a fully tech 2 prophet

in 1v1 that would be good but sometimes temple 2nd works because prophet is so slow, getting him earlier would allow you to get across the map easier such as on tundra

    Re: Blood gulch prophet

just build temple first on blood gulch if you re not doing this you re dumb cause the prophect can get the extra reactor and supply pads very early.

Against covie you should always go temple first.

Against UNSC it's iffy, but getting your supply elevator asap is priority.

Temple first does not shatter your economy, in fact, temple second offers no bonus to your econ whatsoever.

You can pick up more resources with your leader by going temple first, than the amount of resources you make going temple second.

Temple first or third, never second. Temple third is for getting a turret up, and/or quickly blessing your warehouses.

temple 2nd allows a turret in time against the 3 hog rush

Would not going Temple 3rd leave way to much time open for them to get a hold on the hooks (which are prevelant on almost every map)?
