So I finaly get round to downloading both the halo wars dlc packs and when i go to play the game, i go to online mltiplayer. Once i get to the window to choose your options (leader game type etc) i find that i can navigate the menu using the tumsticks, but none of the buttons work! I can't press a, or b, or start. The only way i can get out of this menu is by using the dashboard to exi the whole game- by the way don't suggest deleteing the dlc, i've tryed that, it didn't work... any suggestions?

did you try to click in the two joysticks?

Click your thumbsticks in, then try to press the buttons.  Most likely they aren't centered, it has nothing to do with the DLC.

Unfortunately I've already tried that, but it has no effect- by the way i can use campaign and AI skirmish, just not the multiplayer...

Try it again, just keep them centered the whole time.  AI Skirmish and Campaign do allow you to play even if the thumbsticks aren't aligned properly, I just tested it out.  So that makes me think even more that that's your problem. 

 

 

EDIT: Don't press A while you are pressing the thumbsticks in, just click them in, let go while keeping them centered and then press A.

That could be a possibility since they just made you buy the code that unlocks the content thats on the disk that you have to pay for twice. Notice how it was only 24mb. And sometimes that can mess up the disk also.

Thanks for the advice, i ried it but it didn.t work, so i rebooted my xbox which did the trick, possibly it needed to recentre the controler that way. Am now re-downloading the dlc to see it will work...
