    Pelican Stasis/Useless Hunters

First, I am just wondering if it is possible to stasis beam a pelican with a vampire.

Also, I'm gonna throw out this situation: Say you are the prophet playing against any humans and you upgrade to flying prophet. They make all anti-air wolverines. What do you do? Wolverines outrun the anti-vehicle Hunters that the covenant get with ease, and the only other counter to vehicles are Banshees... which will get destroyed by the Wolverines. I face this all the time and it's quite unbalanced.

Lurker:Poop on his base with your hunters so he's forced to confront you.

Wolverines kill bases faster than Hunters, I believe. Plus, they can go from one base to another much quicker and destroy me quicker.

Like Lurker mentioned, attack their base with your prophet causing the wolverines to return to defend. Start marching your hunters towards that base unless they are next to the teleporter. If they drop a d-bomb, move out of range and teleport the hunters in. Then keep the fight at their base from there on. Make sure to keep Microing your Por from the wolverines till the hunters get there.

And if they don't run to defend their base? The wolverines with volley ability will destroy a base with ease.

Also, one carpet bomb = a lot of dead hunters.

Spread your hunters out so carpet bomb does minimum damage. Take out their tech first which will stop the supply of wolverines. You could also try and split your hunters up by leaving a few to defend. Once you take out the reactors on a base it will fall pretty quickly to your beam. If you have a spare base it might be worth it for you to trade bases(I have done it before and won). They cannot create anymore wolverines and the hunters that you have left should mop them up fairly quickly.

    Re: Pelican Stasis/Useless Hunters

the POR is indeed countered by wolves but believe he is no panzy, simply march your army at his base and the hunters kill bases faster, own his army and when you do confront the army dont bother spreading out your hunters, it will just reduce there effectinaly, unless you can jsut walk forward dont bother trying to dodge it. the hunters can take out loads of them, but beam them all with the hunters, then run away when your shields are almost down, then go in again and they are domlished, plsu you cna always try POR killnig one base while hunters kill the other, he will then ahve to split his army and you can jsut put up a shied and even with volley it will take ages for him to kill your base whiel you kill them two at a time, you must remeber that if you can intercept there army somwhere do it, the only advantage he has is being able to avoid you but he cant avoid you forever

    Re: Pelican Stasis/Useless Hunters

The simplest solution is just to attack his base with whatever you have. Prophet beam combined with your army should kill bases faster than wolverines can. If you insist on fighting the army, though, wraiths will rip through wolverines.

wraiths would be my suggestion if you think hunters are too slow

when my friend and I tried it, the pelican dropped its payload upon being stasissed
