    A little teaser for you all until I role out my first chapter, oh and hello I am new to Halowars Forums

    Please don't hate me. =)

     

     Genesis 6:17, And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.

    It is late September 2552. The UNSC now has one last stronghold left in the Galaxy: Earth. Sent on a desperate mission for technology, Captain Craig Granger is ordered to retrieve "Valuable artifact from this forerunner world". What he and his crew uncover lead to nothing but horror and tragedy.

    Oh man, I remember once I compared the biblical accounts of the Flood with the Flood from Halo. It was pretty cool.

    sorry, man. welcome, but i was JUST about to post a back-story up here for one of my stories, which revolves around telling the events of first contact with the Flood by the Forerunners. i don't mind it, if you we conflict in our story telling, but if you wanna keep it coheasive, which you don't have to do, you can PM me.

    sorry for the outburst, but i just didn't want to see ANOTHER story idea i had go down in flames before i even get it posted.
    and trust me, the story depth can be huge, so tred softly.

    well, tell you what. why don't you do your story, i'll do mine.

    the object of Fan Fiction is for you to be creative and explore the possiblities of all the elements that make of the Halo-verse.

    so, enjoy! and don't feel we have to measure up to each other's plot or ideas.

    Lord knows there's a lot of Halo 3 epilogues that all sound different.

    Nooo!!! I wanted to do a G 617 story when I was done with Insurrection and Memoirs!! Curse you...

     Oh well...

    Nah, once someone's done a story, I can't bring myself to do it myself. I'll write some other epic, I've got a nice idea 'Dawn of the Covenant', covering the Prophet/Sangheili war and the early days of the fragile Covenant.

    No one steal my idea!

    Blarg! I know right? I need to finish off Memoirs and Insurrection first though, and get further on with True Sangheili. Seed of Orion...I'm thinking of continuing it, people at B.net keep pestering me to do so.

     Dawn of the Covenant will come soon enough, just not very soon. But it will be the next Wolverfrog epic, like Insurrection.
