Hi, I am trying to get the skull from the first mission, and from the information provided by GraveHeart801 in their thread I know I have to kill 100 grunts for it to appear, but I am always short on grunts usually killing 96 or 97 when base cleared comes up. Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

And you are most likely not killing them fast enough.

You see, your Mariens are killing them. before you do.

No, it's not only forge's kills that counts.

I also had this problem, but think that the grunts which get killed by the shortsword bombing run doesn't count. And that's quite a ***.....

you need to do the levelon heroic or legendary difficulty to have more grunts to kill easy no??

there are 2 on the path to the final area off to the side that you might not be seeing. go slow when you cant see the marines in combat

I think that there are only 100 grunts in the mission on heroic and legendary. It's tough to get to it, because on everything below legendary, the last grunt will usually be the last unit on the level. On legendary, the shortswords won't kill the wraiths for you, so it's easier to kill the grunts and still have targets left over. However, I have no clue how to finish the mission on legendary. I gave up on the skull a month ago.

your wrong...your hogs and marines can kill the grunts but you must get to them in time before the uncontrolled marines kill them off...to get the achievement you must ram 50 with hogs

you can have the grunt as the last unit killed, just move a marine to the spot where it spawns to grab it before the level ends

When you get into the base, you want to kill all grunts near the wraiths or the artillary will kill them, and not give the kill count to you.

To all that have replied to my request for assistance, I thank you all, you have given me much to attempt to get this blinking skull. ;-D
