one 1v1 map, two 2v2 maps and one 3v3 map......seriously......

It's so painstakingly obvious that the main game type played is 3v3, in fact one of the best things about this game ( it's usp) is the facts that you can play 3v3's, yet you only created one extra map. 

Putting to one side the insane over pricing for both dlc's, my main problem is the complete unawareness (if that's a word) for the 3v3 gametype, Originally when the game came out i thought 3v3 would have the most maps, unfortunatly it had 3...3! Then i thought it's fine, their not stupid when they see the amount of people playing 3v3's they'll come to their senses.... Then i hear their are new maps, i'm searching all over the web for details on these maps. Then i finally found some information on them and guess what, the dlc contains one 1v1 and two 2v2's! SERIOUSLY!!!!! no 3v3... by this point i had broke my disk and was half way through eating the manual, then good news finally. they were adding new 3v3 maps, one 3v3 map to be exact, and the icing on the cake, it's a rip off of frozen valley. c'moooooooooooon What were you thinking, this make no logical sense, iv'e been trying to think of it from your're point of view and nothing, i cant think of one reason why you wouldn't want to play to the games strength of having a 3v3 game type. Im seeing less and less people on the game everyday, and the fact that all the new game modes (keep away and the others) at peak contain 20 players, yet their are 9k people online should be an indication that you MAY have other priced it a LITTLE. In short we need maps, 3v3 maps, pleaaaaase! We only have 3 and if you like being robbed then 4 but its not enough, we need New (not rip off's) New original maps so we can mix things up a bit, If you care about you gamers and take their opinions into consideration then listen to all of us when we say we need more 3v3 maps!!!!!!

after readin this post you should know that the DLC maps were made with the game but didnt come with the game, they were meant to be bought as DLC later on, but the reason they didnt have 3v3 maps orginally in the DLC is because there reasearch showed that 3v3 would not be popular and that 2v2 and 1v1 would, the 3v3 shouldnt even be in the DLC but ROBOT kindly made one for the community and I think they did a good job aswell, Really with the extra map comnig it shoudlve even cost mreo but the ROBOT team didnt make it cost mroe, I think the maps are great and worth the moeny and gratul a 3v3 map was even added.

It's actually 2 1v1's and 1 2v2. not the other way around. I like the maps but to this day, i have still not played ONE online.

Why is there not a way to design maps your self like halo 3 did? It seems easier to make one of these maps

i understand that the maps were made prior to the games release, but withing the first few weeks of the launch it was obvious 3v3 was very popular, so ROBOT had sufficient time from release to now ( with another dlc inbetween) to produce some 3v3 maps, all im saying is that if they payed more attention early on they would have found out that research wasn't very accurate, instead they left it to the last second and rushed a rip off map, and spun it as if it were a great feat of kindness for them to make this map instead of saying we understand now that 3v3 is the desired game type and we will be making more maps for it in the future

ROBOT must have been confilcted with this, they still would not have enough time to make a map because of having a small team unless it was just an edit of another map so you would have just gotten the same 3v3 map, they could take out one of the other maps made from scatch just to add in a another edited 3v3 map =/

This is fanboyism to the max.  It is funny to see the blinders put on some people and the blatent disregard for common sense when someone likes a game enough.  When you are finished kissing up to ROBOT, maybe you could inform them how to do a market study and how to make a simple map editor that almost every other RTS game has so they can pump out 10 maps in the future.

Well like Ensembled said way back in the days. DLC is what keeps some games alive and if they dish out the wrong high price poor qaulity DLC then that's a mistake that anyone should see.

And I'm sure the map editors they have work just fine. Hell Microsoft would probably help them out with the DLC anyways. You forget that MS has their own game studio too.

lol, I know I know, I just dont think that ROBOT thought about 3 days in the game being realeased they would think "3v3 most popular three days in, hurry make 10 combillon 3v3 maps". Im sure it was jsut a mistake and they will make moer 3v3 maps (I hope) but they had to reaslese the maps that were said going to be realeased and that was alreaady made.

Well, I never really liked the final outcome of the game so I decided not to get it, but they could maybe put two 3v3 maps in the next DLC, perhaps?

 As I see it, larger maps are ofter welcome in most RTS's, I for one love large maps, and I'm sure they might be adding them in the future.
