Becoming a rusher, so goes the rep!

I have been playing better...somewhat. I'm TS 30 now. I have got there not with me favorite leader tho Anders, I have been using the brute. I think I mastered his rush but it doesn't work all the time. Then I noticed something....My player rep for halo wars got AWFUL!! People avoided me 70% of the time and my "too aggressive" and "un-sportsmen like conduct" ratings have taken a major hit since I used a rushing strat.

What are your numbers looking like? Avoiding someone is not going to stop people from rushing you and even if you can defend a rush you can still be taken to school by a good player

Re: Becoming a rusher, so goes the rep!

I used to have the nice 5 star rep with everyone liking me.  Then I started winning.

Now I have 0 stars and half of them are for trash talk... I never talk to the opposing team...

Hey, nobody likes to lose. If they lose to something they can't beat because they aren't good, they will take it out on you. Unfortunately, that's just how dumb people are.
    Game on.

75% to 25%, Me and my teammate have been doing soewhat of an Arby/Anders thing, except with Brute/Cutter.

We've only lost once, very dissapointing...

    Who cares?

Rep means absolutely nothing, the only person who can see it is yourself. No matter how low its gets, you will still have 5 stars next to your gamer card.

Re: Becoming a rusher, so goes the rep!

Ever since I started playing halo Wars... All I have gotten hit by are Rush Tactics... And most... are a Team of Arbiter/Brute... and They just come arbiter destroys all my things while Brute takes out the base... I dislike the tactic... but I have accepted that it is a tactic... I have won 2 out of the whatever number of games I have played with this tactic... and the rest I have lost... mostly because I am not jerkish... If that is a word... to do this tactic... I always have to have a backup... so therefore I get creamed... because I make an excuse to why I can't send the rush... And I end up going back to Forge... to do my Only working tactic... It is a rush somewhat... I build an Army of Machine Gun Warthogs... and Send it to the base with about 10... and they take it out easily... unless they have tanks built... or even if they have Hornets built... I hate making his Special tank... it takes to long... anyway... Yeah it does take down your rep... because I dislike people that use it when they are generals or majors or any of the higher than recruit... Yes it is a working strategy... but it is also what me and one of my teammates call a "Mingebag Strategy"... Anyway...

I have gotten a few Reps down... (Though its back up because I am a Friendly player :D)... And Mostly because I used the warthog rush... Saying I cheated... I have yet to find a counter to it yet...If you find something though ... Tell me :D

I rush and I have five stars, but my rep well that is another story, 67% avoid on one gamer tag, 90% avoid on the other.  But a bad rep does not even compare to my hate mail collection.

I feel that hate mail is a slightly immature form of humbleness.

No one but you can see your rep percentage. As for the stars who cares...

My name is Legion, for we are many...

And out of the smoke, Locusts came down upon the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth...

There goes another loser using the no brain covie leader rush.

I have an idea why don't all you rushers get together and play Connect Four, i mean you don't have to use your brain really at all for that either =)

Leader rushes are quit easy to fend off.

Plus I barely ever see it.

But leader harrassment is a different story.

Look... Though the Leader rush is not a Very good Tactic... or one anyone would want to be put up against with... It is a tactic... Whether you like it or not... There is always going to be someone that uses a Tactic that someone else doesn't like... mostly because they don't know how to use anything else... they can't win with an army... mostly because they don't know what is good... so they destroy you with a powerful unit before you can Build anything to cream them...

Though it is sort of a Dead Brain move... it Is a move some people use mostly because they need to ... or they are faced with an enemy that they surely cannot defeat...

    Get used to it...

All rushes are counterable.  I guess you dont have the little bit of brains it takes to counter them.
