    infantry up-close and garrisons

infantry close quarter combat(CQC) should melee it out w/ other infantry, and when i mean melee, i mean the marines should hit w/ there gun, kick, (and maybe some football styles tackles), the grunts, with there overwhelming #s jump in the infantry and start to scratch  and bite and ***. Their leader(elite and brute) should melee like the marines. Hunters too, i see these *** monsters and laugh, they should use their big ass armor arm to not only *** up infantry but vehicles as well. im not sure about jackals cuz they lack a physical body(except speed), but i guess they can drag infantry away and torture them.....this can work for covies spec too, the suicide grunts can scratch, then when they r bout to die, the last person they r in CQC w/ blow up w/ them, brute commando go besarker(spelling)-mode, and elite honor guards and Cyclopes, well they really need to win these CQC b/c its wat they do. flamethrowers, i guess can't *** b/c they already CQC units(to an extent), but they can shove their flamethrowers into infantry's mouth and cook the inside(HARSH), and infantry can do it w/ grenades also. I also like to see infantry have finisher animations too!!

they really need to put up more garrisons around in the game, i mean do infantry really stand in the middle of the battlefield and shoot?(well after the American Civil War), no, they take cover. Like in the trailers, marines didnt stand there and fight, they took cover behind warthogs and barricades. Also like in EAW FOC, they should have "infantry only" paths like thick forests for rocky for which they can ambush and take cover. the path is only visible when infantry r in it or the enemy attacks from there.

now i wrote this b/c i like to see infantry used more often, b/c also in war, u dont have tank or aircraft only battles. tanks and aircraft cant capture hooks!!

thank you if u read all of these!!

In the middle of a giant ice tundra what do you want them to take cover under/behind?

You want all battle fields to have random crashed warthogs?

Yeah but they shouldnt do it automatically. Im all for garrisonable buildings, vehicles etc. But I wouldnt want my units doing it on there own.

Grizzlies R OP:no, of course not, but im saying is that if warthogs blow up, then they should take cover right?

If all vehicles stay on the map as debris you can take cover under/behind, then the game would eventually lag like hell and soon blow up the AI's simple pathing functions.

Maybe if we ditch the leaders, the leader powers, some back up infantry like the Flamers and Jackals, it could work. We would also have to get rid of all air units because they would provide an unfair advantage to the units bashing each others brains out for the warthog wreckage.

    Re: infantry up-close and garrisons

How about if a blown up vehicle goes 1 minute without being garrisoned it vanishes.

relax only ideas, but if u were a soldier, u wouldnt want to be in the middle of the battlefield.

It could still cause lag becuase then you have a bunch of tank wreckage sitting there for a minute. Clever idea though.

No trying to insult you :P

I know I wouldnt want my head out there but then again its only a bunch of marines which will die alot and replaced alot.
