Yes he was and he will make an appearance in Halo Wars. It will not be halo with out the sarge

I bet he will be in there and i bet that he will be a special character and i bet he will be on the first mission :)

Well he died in Halo and still came back for Halo 2, so if this game is still Halo-core, I have a feeling he'll be somewhere.  Even if only in a cut scene or two.

He never really died in halo 1...that legendary cutscene is a joke, not really part of the story, unless Johnson hasnt come out of the closet yet..

yes, i agree that he must be in the game. but how can he be a hero? he doesnt have superhuman strenght or regenerative ablilities yet. and how is he assigned to the PoA? its not introduced untill right before the first game started. maybe he could be a hero, but what would his special abilities be?

A direct sniper shot that instantly kills the driver of any vehicle or instantly kills anyone unlucky enought to be not behind a wall? Or maybe some sort of Moral boost special power type thingy that increases the attack power of all units around him?

I would love to see Sarge make an appearance in the game as well, possible a commander of a group of UNSC soliders or something along those lines.
