    help countering tanks+wolves

ok well today I lost one of first 3v3 party team matches (we faced some good people, though they were a myth in matchmaking). Anyway what really did us in besides my teamate going mono arby when he noramlly dosnt and my other teamate being cutter without a free base I just want to know what really counters this...mass hunters maybe?

Well, they both are vehicles, so yeah just build and upgrade some hunters, and they should easily do the job.  If you're human, locked down cobras should do the trick.

we tried cobras, we had 7 locked down but they always got swarmed and halfway dead before even locking down, cobras suck only hornets really do the trick to tanks but wolves make sure they dont do the trick =(

That's why you have to make sure you lock them down in a safe spot.  :)  Hunters are much better offensively because they don't need to lock down.  However, cobras deal much more damage quicker and have longer range.  If you are facing Forge though late game, the super carpet bomb may be a small problem, as lock downed cobras are vulnerable.  That's why I always spread mine out so a well place carpet could only take out a couple.

for covie do hunters and wraiths fully upped. cant go wrong with that combo because if they whip out cobras just switch to full hunters. as for unsc go cobras with spartans in the cobras and some tanks. that way once their force is wiped from the cobras send some tanks up to attack and move the cobras up behind them. If your unsc its going to turn into a tug of war match who can push the hardest at that point. but covie>unsc

I thought about it and wouldnt just alot of canister tanks do the trick seeing as the wolves would get owned by them and I outnumber the tanks?

Arbiter should have gone hunters and locusts. Send the hunters in while keeping the locusts far. It is even more difficult to stop this combo when they have a couple of cobras with them. For the UNSC, Cobras and scorpion tanks. Drop the ODST once in combat and try to have the marines rocket the tanks and wolves in an individual manner.

stealth wanted to go mono arby (he was really slowly upgradeing) and so he couldnt get any units sadly, and rocking got cobras that got pooped on by banshee's and I had vamps and bashee's (full pop) owning his tanks and banshee's then they broughht in eolves so I switched got in some wraiths to take them out but I got outnumbered evetually.

locusts have range but not as good of damage compared to fully upped wraiths, and wraiths take a hell of alot more hits which is good to keep the targeting off the hunters. Wraiths are dope once they are fully upgraded too i would take them over scorpions any day, + they put up a good fight against grizzlies so just throw a couple hunters instead of wraiths and you got yourself a tank killin army. not to mention leader powers rape face any ways.

    Re: help countering tanks+wolves

ODST. your cutter teammate should just hot drop around the wolves and only focus on that. i do that when i have odst and my teammate has hawks. i'll have Tanks or cobras and i'll be constantly dropping odst just to block the wolverines pathfinding. Key idea is that my main goal is to block the pathfinding of the wolverines and keep the air units protected. trust me it works, plus odst's do work against wolverines.

When moving cobras its best to use a sort of 2x2 formation. Lock down a third or so and move up the rest and lock them down, then unlock the first group and move them up..repeat. This way you always have something firing if you run into units even if its slow going. Also as long as they dont have anti-infantry, its good to mix in some marines as meat-shields to absorb some of the canister fire. Also rpg rapes wolvies.
