I found them on this fansite: http://www.halowarscentral.com/

    Those models look awesome!

[edit: I replaced the links so they point one level up to give the modeler a bit more credit for his work - paragon]

    Re: Interesting stuff!

Those are sweet models. I prefer the Elites over the Spartans though, i'm not a huge fan of the visor design.

Oh, the other day i was re-reading over The Fall of Reach and i just remembered that Spartans don't get energy shields until 2552! Oh man, i had totally forgotten that not all Majolnir armour had shields. I wonder how effective Spartans will really be in HW without their shields and how their super effectiveness will be portrayed (maybe lots of HP?)

    Re: Interesting stuff!

For those of you who havn't been paying attention, those were created by the same design company that created the trailer for Halo Wars.

Thus, it is safe to say that there is some authenticity to them, vs. being made by a kid who managed to paste the Halo Wars banner.

By the way, I'm interested in how you came across these. I was under the impression that ES was keeping screens pretty tight under wraps.

The elite is a little skinny, but you've got to admint, that Spartan shoulder pad is absolutely dominant.

as you say, they're made my the company who made the trailer not ES, maby ES didn't make the models (they did say only a few were in game) so maby the company just used original models and did a favour for them

But DAMN that Mjolnir rocks..i seriously hope that's a skin in halo 3 multiplayer..

And if you look under the grey/blue shoulder pad, you can just about see a regular shoulder pad, so maby it was put ontop after?

    Nice work finding em
