    hijacking

I have a few things that I think should be altered..

1 if you have honor guard wraiths and/or flame hogs you should be able to jack an enemy wraith or hog and the decals/paint job be applied ( such as if i hijack an enemy wraith it should be honor guard afterwards)

2 if you jack an enemy vehicle that you can make it should upgrade with your others ( such as i jack an enemy scorpion I could upgrade it just like my others rather than it being left with no upgrades while i have grizzlies)

3possibility of jacking scarabs and vultures ( to even things out the scarab or vulture would have to severely weakend and require multiple spartans)

Let me get this straight, you want someone who spends 600 resources on two Spartans to be able to get two 3000 scarabs? I think not. Too many ways for it to screw up and really, putting Spartans in is supposed to strengthen the vehicle, not make it weaker.

Think that new units/leaders/factions are possible or going to be added? Think again, read the linked thread.

I think either I said it wrong or you misunderstoud me. To even things out you would have to say use 3 spartans to hijack a scarab but you would have to damage the scarab first (get its health down into red maybe) then jack it, I wasnt meaning for spatans to hijack a vehicle to make the vehicle weaker.

    Re: hijacking

Spartans being able to hijack scarabs? I like it just make it this way:

A spartans has to get on a hornet, the hornet has to fly up high and drop the spartan over the scarab, when the spartan falls over the scarab it looses his shields (halo wars is before halo1, remember when you fall from a high place in halo1?) ok, once the spartan recovers from the hit it has to go inside the scarab only to find out the scarab does not have controls it has a bunch of orange worms that can't be jacked. So the spartan yells "Oh well..." and then he commits suicide.

But in order to make this happen Robot should make spartans being able to drop from hornets... now thats a problem...

    Re: hijacking

Let's put it this way. With the Scarab's cost and long build time, making it to where three spartans can hijack a scarab would make the unit useless. UNSC players would constantly go after any scarabs with Spartans and the Covenant players would be too paranoid to build them, removing their most powerful, non-hero unit. While you're at it, why don't you make it to where 8 grunts can jack a vulture.

Seriously, making it to where multiple Spartans can jack uber units would make them too powerful. Why don't you think of both sides before proposing these ideas.

Too complex, not happening, would be a waste of code.

Your suggestions are imaginative, but are unrealistic for this game. It would just be far too powerful to jack an enemy scorpion and, once it's under your possession, having the scorpion turn into a Grizzly. It'd be unfair to immediately apply upgrades to all stolen vehicles. After all, by jacking an enemy vehicle, you just obtained a vehicle for yourself, and the enemy lost one. It would suck if that obtained vehicle was also immediately upgraded to a super unit.

Good point, you can't hijack a vehicle if it's guided by lekgolo. You can only kill it.

    Re: hijacking

I believe theres a ridiculously complicated way in which you can actually take control of a scarab in H3. Besides, Johnson took control of a scarab did he not?

    Re: hijacking

We can't use johnson as a example. He's immune to flood, stickies, shots to the head etc. He can do anything he sets his mind too.

    SO you want

900>3000....yeah, I'm going to go ahead and say no to that. Scarabs are powerful enough, putting spartans in them, even if the scarab is at low HP seems OP since you could just heal it.

    Re: hijacking

An interesting idea but I agree with everyone else, the resource ratio would make it unfair.  That's why you see Spartans on the field more often than Uber-units.  Lol, besides it would only take one spartan to jack a Scarab anyway.

It's impossible to hijack a scarab, it is controlled by Lekegolo, it's like saying

"I'm going to hijack a hunter"
