    Join the AoD

I'm leaving in 2 days for Marine Corp boot camp, but this is a gift to my clan before I go.

The clan was made in 2006 especially for Halo Wars. If you look back in my threads I made the first "Pre-Halo Wars" clan. It was called the UNSC. This clan is looking for good members and if your interested we're the organization to look at. We've got ambition and goals. Heres some information about us.

    Clan Name: Angels of Death
    Date Founded: November 16th, 2006
    Recruiting: Yes
Clan Leader: Jose "MarineDude" Medellin a.k.a. Th3Jok3r
Second in Command: Brian "Omulou5" Foeckler
    Website: www.theaod.spruz.com

Our clan is a group of gamers who come from all corners of the globe seeking to unite under a common banner and play the games we enjoy in a unified fashion. The AoD looks at operating on several platforms. Whether you play Xbox 360 or PC we still accept all gamers no matter their personal preference. Our aim is to expand and dominate on as many games as possible. For now the ones we're best at is Halo 3, Halo Wars, and Call of Duty.

Skill level has often not been the most key component into joining our group. Although you need to at least know how to carry your own weight in game we're not asking for professionals. So if you go 40 and 1 in a game or if you go 10 and 8 your still welcome in the clan. This is further obvious as we strive to keep the more competitive members tested by participating in the MLG gamebattles league.

Our plans for the future are to expand our community to a point where it is a well recognized and well respected organization that provides gamers with the best opportunity to enhance their in game experience.

Not actually interested in the clan (hate clan drama) but just wanted to say congrats on joining the Corps, one way or another it'll be good for you and you'll get to do things nobody else other than fellow Marines ever will.  I always love hearing that another young man chose to join my Corps.  Just make sure you uphold all of our traditions, enjoy yourself, and good luck.

Under a common banner? More like the outcasts of the world coming to share their disconted low self esteem, trying to settle their needs and problems through excessive gaming. The people who founded the clans are either phycologists trying to find the effect long term gaming has on nerds and freaks, or just people who wish they could actully afford their games console instead of selling drugs and hoitering money out of the banks to pay for their xbox membership.

Human: Regret? A phrophet? Is this who you call your saviour, your leader? This aberation of self preserverance and spite? The dulutant who manipulates the destineys of a hundread races for his own deisires?

    Covenent: Um, yes?

    Human: Cool! Im in!

I`ve seen this before, someone sums up their own life and tries to reflect it onto others.

Yes, because you obviously don't know anything about the Marine Corps.

We always come back in one piece, we always win, we're the shiznit.

The Marine Corps is involved in more fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq than any other branch and we have less casualties.  That's what happens when you're the best at what you do.

You may have the least but its still alot overall, look I`m not trying to start a flame war here, I just don`t like the idea of young men going off to die.

True, but there is a lot of any clan name out there you just need to know where to find it. There's really only one other AoD clan that I would consider anything major and they're clanaod.net but they're pc only.

We hated clan drama for a long time. Thats why we banned the idea of a "clan war". Instead we stuck to our professionalism and did our clan matches via gamebattles.com. I"m extremely grateful for your support and I will need all the luck in the world. I'm glad to see that it is indeed a small world and small corp.

You made me laugh haha. Outcast? I would hardly think of us that. Maybe one member, but we keep him in a cellar away from public. I have a very high self asteem and half the people in the clan I actually know on a personal level and they're honestly the best characters I've ever met in my life. I did take psychology class a few years back, but the exact reason I founded the AoD was to make a team of people to play online with instead of leaving chance in random people you get paired up with in games. Smart idea right? I don't know of any clan thats purpose for being alive is to run psychology test. Almost every one you'll find is for gaming with friends in a unified manner. I think maybe you have some issues that are affecting what you're saying. I would recommend not bringing your real life problems into a social area. You tend to make yourself look stupid.

Preecey22:Am I the only one not happy that he joined the marines? He could freaking die, all I`m going to say is goodluck man and come back in one peice.

I'm flattered by your concern. Every member of the armed forces signs a contract in which states you are fully knowledgeable that the military can be lethal and that you are willing to give your life for the country. I loved signing that part of the contract because I took it very seriously. The military is my passion and my country is worth my life. It might not be a country or religion for you, but even you have something you would risk your own life for. And thank you for the support.
