Has anyone incorperated a strat where they build lots of units, get them lots of stars, and then upgrade them to their full potention. Cause veterancy really does add a ton of advantage. even a two star arbiter can throw his swords at a tank driver, and then use his phsycic abilities to bring his sword back to him, and then the tank explodes, and he repeats, raping everything. Even a 3 star chieften takes his hammer, and shoves it up the PORs @$$. Seriously if anyone has any strats to get units upgraded that would be great. I had a two star spartan fully upgraded with adrenaline, and i saw like ten hunters appeared, and i thought the spartan would die, and when i go back to check on him, and hes barely scratched, and hes grabbing hunters, twirling them like a wrestler and then hurls em into the abyss on chasms. 

i once had a three star jackals popping headshots on brutes everywhere. THey never missed.  and their shields just deflected everything back at their attackers. Has anyone ever got a 3 star scarab, cause that would rape.

You do know that it would take way to long to get a full veteran army before attacking the enemy and maintaining them. This might happen against an easy or normal AI but not on Live. You'd get rushed and then lose your units before they becomes Vet.

You would have to kill all of the rebels to do that. You would be vulnerable to a rush and to hit-and-run attacks on your base while your army is away.

Yes it does, and I HAVE had a 3 star scarab on Pirth Outskirts 1v1. It DOMINATED EVERYTHING. Took out the final base in about 2 seconds of beaming lol.

First day the game came out, I built a well trained marine squad that took $100 just to be prepared. A cripple in a chair floats at me and I laugh as i send my squad. 2 seconds later im in the corner of my room crying.

Yes it does, and I HAVE had a 3 star scarab on Pirth Outskirts 1v1. It DOMINATED EVERYTHING. Took out the final base in about 2 seconds of beaming lol. 

 D@mn RIGHT!   I've had the honor of guiding a 3 star scarab myself, and he had a little brother, but the brother died, but him, he had 19 engineers trailing him, and the PoR was in the back and circling around the opponents army, takin out anything that could be a long range threat..  like those cobras, while the scarab owned the wolverines and tanks, and just shred metal and @ss all over the place..  I named him tinky..   because when you heard his little scarab flip flops comin over the buildings in "The Docks," well, lets just say it was Ceran, cuz it was a wrap from there on out...

12 Star Spartan Cobras laugh at your Scarab. It only takes about 2 or 3 shots from those to knockdown a Scarab, probably an extra shot or 2 for the veteran on the Scarab

I love my 12 star cobras. I find it hilarious when the enemy sends Grizzlies that get demolished in one hit by it.  Usually when i build cobras I build Spartans to jack them. Then each has at least nine by the time I'm attacked. Fun stuff.

The highest amount of stars on a spart-unit that i have ever gotten were on those 12 star cobras. If it does go up to 14 i gotta try to get one of those. That would be deadly against any vehicle.

Not true.

I have once seen a 1 star scrab.

For all units

1star=+15%atck/def - Unit kills double its worth - Ex:Marren kills a $200 turrent

2star=+60%atck/def - Unit kills tripple of that - Ex:1 star Marren kills $600 worth

3star=+95%atck/def - Unit kills....a lot!

And it increses with upgrades
