has anybody else noticed that they have added four new achievements for the game which also implies four new maps. is there a relese date set for this new DLC? 

Yes, but there are loads of threads that say this, use the search bar before you post. But in answer to the question, no release date has been set, but it only implies 3 new maps not 4 and since one of the acheivments wants you to give resources to teamates, it suggests a 3v3 map. Robot said they will anounce the release date for the patch and the next DLC as soon as they can.
