    Flamethrowers

Is it just me that thinks flamers are not really that good?
Playing against a PoR earlier, his PoR kills 2 flamers, shields run down, he runs
Shields come back, takes down two 2 flamers, runs.
Shields come back, upgrades to flying, flamers mill around while the prophet does a little victory dance.

should leaders be affected by stun grenades like spartans are, or should flamers be able to flame whilst moving?

    Flamers were T2 btw

I have a fire proof suit, don't try it.

    Re: Flamethrowers

Make hogs against the PoR. When he flies, make a few wolvs mixed in. Flamers are really good. They take out early leaders, just not the PoR
    1v1 - 48
    2v2 - 50
    3v3 - 47

    Best player evar!!!1!

You just got a taste of classic prophet play...Get a field armory next time and upgrade the run speed...forgot what the upgrade is called...then you can run as fast as he can or slightly faster...again forget.  Just keep chasing him around.  Make him spend money to recall.  As for when he flys get gauss...

I use flamethrowers quite a bit, and I usually have to use them in number to kill a leader.

The Prophet can be tricky, because he can retreat faster than you can catch him, so what I do is send some to make him start retreating and have a few more ambush him as he falls back.

once, I put 15 beam rifles jackals around the prophet's teleport beacon (but out of his base field view, so he didn't see them) and I raged the prophet (with arby) until he recalled. my 15 jackals shredded him as he landed on the beacon and instantly killed him XD made me lol.

Flamers can destroy early leaders. Give them flashbang and they can easily deal with an early rush.

I won quite a few games where i've countered an early Leader rush and lead an assault against their base. Pelican dropped flamers on their base can be devestating. Espically around the spawn point.
