In my opinion the best super unit is the one with the greatest upgrade over the upgrade dircetly below it. For example, ODST compared to marines with medic, or GRIZZLYS against tanks with power turrets, or HAWKS compared to hornets with chaff pods. Every one of these units can be whiped out with a counter so i beleive that they must be compared to themselves, what do you all think is the best?

Undeniably the Hawks take the cake. Full pop Hornets vs Full pop Hawks = 0 Hornets, 13 Hawks

well yes, every unit can be countered thats why i feel they must be compared to their own type of unit

they are so constant and annoying, even more so than hawks, atleast with hawks you dont have to make a slow counter that is only good against one thing

THe best super unit is redundant. They are just an upgrade that make already great units (Accept for marines) better. If you ask me their appearence in the game is stupid and i personally don't see their point. Anyways, the ODSTs are the best super unit simply because of their ability to offer so much more than otherss in terms of covor and hooks and the ability to hot drop them. That doesn't mean they are the best though. each one has its own situations in which it performs very well.

I think ODST's are the best. Never let 3 Cutters get late game, they'll all swarm 1 base with 40 odst each (120) and if you kill 30, they can each drop ten and have max army again. All they need to do is all units, fire rockets at base, move to next enemy base. =D

true very true. microed grizzlies beat ODSTs every time. if only i had those stats for the game where this guy spammed ODSTs
